Celebrating 125 Years of Excellence!
2024 marks a momentous occasion as we celebrate the 125th anniversary of our beloved Alma Mater!
From our humble beginnings in 1899 as the Deaconess Home School on Hanover Street, we have flourished into a vibrant institution with a rich history, expanding enrollment, and an ever-growing range of activities and opportunities.
The Swan Challenge 125:
In honor of this milestone, our theme for the anniversary was “Swan Sisters - Fit & Alive for 125.”
This theme was a call to action for all Swans to embrace a lifestyle of physical and mental fitness.
As part of our celebrations, we invite all Swans worldwide to join the Swan Challenge 125:
- Create a 25-Second Video:
Show us how you’re staying fit or how you’re embracing the spirit of the anniversary. Use our standard video format and share your journey or motivation.
- Make a Contribution:
Swans were encouraged to commit to a minimum contribution of $125US for the year. Contributions could be made as a lump sum or through monthly installments.
- Friendly Competition:
Chapters were asked to set monetary targets and compete to see who can raise the most. Atlanta Chapter was announced as the winner chapter during the celebrations!
- Personal Fitness Challenges:
Challenge yourself in creative ways, such as aiming to fit into your original school uniform by Roll Call 125 on Friday, November 15, 2024.
- Create a 25-Second Video:
Let us continue to celebrate 125 years of tradition, growth and community.
This anniversary was a testament to our commitment to health, unity and generosity.!
